Brent McAhren Bio
Brent McAhren, a local artist, muralist, sculptor, teacher with a bachelor of arts in visual communication design from Purdue University. Using materials that are considered trash to most, creating recycled amazing works of art . Foam couch cushions, cardboard and other mixed media are used to create 3-D art costumes and even large scale set designs for Star Struck, children’s theater. Winning multiple local art competitions and costume contests because of his unique application to a more realistic visual presentation, most of his artistic success comes from not limiting materials, thinking outside the box and unusual visual perspective. An eye for creative details adds to the excitement of each project he encounters.. Featured in Stuart magazine.

Years of Experience
My experience includes silk screening for printed circuit boards and T-shirts, newspaper and magazine design layout, architectural drafting and patent design drawing, and billboard artwork. I taught high school graphic arts for 10 years and also private painting classes and Photoshop instruction. I have created multiple local murals for businesses and museums. I am a professional photographer, artist and sculptor.
